Seeing Spots.

I caved. I finally bought printed denim. It’s surprising how easy it is to put together an outfit around a statement pant.

My rule of thumb: Play up your printed denim (whether it be floral, polka dot or cheetah) with a neutral top.

Friday Fashion.

I put a conscious effort into my outfits everyday. Unfortunately, I do not have a photographer following me around on the daily to document my outfits - which would probably explain why I haven’t posted personal style in months.

A Utilitarian Vibe.

I’m new to vests as layering pieces. It wasn’t until I found this rich maroon Citizens of Humanity vest for $9 at Goodwill that I considered wearing them.

The utilitarian trend is something that has certainly carried over from last fall, so I’m happy to mix older pieces with new ones. These trusty olive trousers were a steal for $10 at Target last year!

A Monday Outfit.

I wore this adorable knife pleat skirt by LC Lauren Conrad for my final interview at Kohl’s Corporate a few weeks ago.

For a more casual look, I replaced a traditional button-down with a chambray shirt and added a brown leather belt to complete the look. Opaque tights are my go-to for chillier weather and paired with the right black heels, elongate my legs.

It’s Sweater Season.

In my last personal style post, I showed off my Marc Jacobs silk dress that I scored at Goodwill for $17. During that same shopping trip, I also grabbed this cherry sweater by Marc Jacobs for $12. I know, it should be illegal.
